Getting comfortable with being uncomfortable
After dropping my luggages off at my flat and a brief campus tour, I honestly did not know what to do next. My wifi was not working because my login credentials were incorrect, and I could not access an data on my phone because I could not open my SIM card port because the SIM card did not come with anything to open the port.
As sad as it may sound, I needed my phone because I did not know how to catch the bus or tube to the nearest grocery store. After frantically attempting to cut pieces of plastic into thin slivers in order to open the port, I randomly found a push pin on the sidewalk and used that to switch out the SIM cards and activate my phone.
Making Friends
For the first couple hours, I thought to myself "Am I going to just be alone this entire semester?"
"Will I even make friends?"
"Everyone else from other states seemed like they clicked with each other so quickly"
Fortunately, later that night I met with some of my flatmates and we ʻclickedʻ very well, almost instantly - which I am very thankful for.

Accommodation
Our rooms are not the biggest, but what college dorm room is? All the essentials are here, and for that I am happy and thankful : )
**If you plan to study at Roehampton, I advise you to apply for an en suite room!!
My first night here I could not figure out how to use the heater to save my life so I slept in the 28 degree weather - freezing cold. But the next morning, I finally figured it out because Google was no help at all.
